Fernando is a bilingual creative writer, editor, and proofreader with a fastidiously precise approach to grammar and style. Lyricist, too. And an essayist. And a light aircraft pilot. And much more. He's written, edited, and proofread thousands of pieces of writing. From technical manuals and blogs to newspaper and magazine articles, choose-your-own-adventure-type adventures, TTRPG style guides, D&D one-shots, short stories, essays, and a lot more. Pretty much the whole gamut of readable material.
He was born in Spain many moons ago and has been writing ever since. First, with a pencil. Then, using a typewriter, a noisy, honest-to-God mechanical contraption with ribbon spools and that messy black and red ink fabric stripe that had a bothersome tendency to become dislodged from the type guide every few keystrokes. Word processors came much later.
With a creative writing diploma from Cambridge University under his belt, and BA in English Language and Literature in progress, Fernando is a versatile and resourceful creative writer. Always drawn to the horror genre, his first book, a collection of short horror stories, is scheduled for publication in Q1 of 2027. He's already working on his sophomore title, to be revealed at a later date. In the meantime, he posts stuff on Substack daily and works to support fellow creators' journeys on that platform and others.
His stories and essays have appeared on sites such as Dark Holme Publishing, Horrorsmith, Fruit Hanging Low, and others. He recently joined Moonlit Getaway as Copy Editor.
Fernando lives in Ireland with two almost well-mannered teenagers and an ill-tempered pug named Molly.
