Art by Guille Blancarte

Guille Blancarte

Guille Blancarte is a Mexican visual artist and designer whose work has been exhibited in Miami, New York, Mexico City, Hong Kong, and Mazatlán. Her work is also permanently archived on the surface of the Moon in digital format as part of the Lunaprise Moon Museum.

Inspired by music, science fiction, the sea, and its creatures, Guille creates introspective works that often carry a sense of nostalgia. She believes that the simplest forms can evoke the deepest emotions.
Working across photography, digital illustration, painting, embroidery, and installation, she explores geometric forms, patterns, and vibrant colour.

Best known for her landscapes and POPtraits, her work is held in private collections across London, Hong Kong, the United States, Dubai, and Mexico. Before focusing on her artistic practice, Guille worked as a designer in the music industry and is the founder of the design brand Artefact 222.
