Art by Olivia Harks

Olivia Harks is a surreal oil painter creating a visual narrative of modern mythology, emotion and the fleeting moments of our experience. Olivia grew up in New Zealand where she earned her master’s in architecture. Now based in Greater Vancouver, her work emerges from dreamlike imagery and interior landscapes; an instinctive process which continues to inform paintings that sit between symbolism and the surreal. Olivia’s dark visual narratives invite the viewer into moments of ambiguity, introspection, and quiet beauty. Follow Olivia on Instagram @oliviaharksart and visit her website: www.oliviaharks.com
