Blessing / Curse

Too often I cannot recall

where I put my keys or

left my cap but then some-

thing embarrassingly stupid

or technically criminal

I did as a teenager without

functioning moral compass –

that load arises from a permanent

collection than can’t be culled

this side of lobotomy or heady

affair with rusty guillotine.
