Artist Spotlight: Katerina Grancharova

Katerina Grancharova is a Bulgarian artist, born in Ukraine and based in Sofia. Her work moves between portraiture and abstraction, seeking harmony between the inner and outer worlds. Through vibrant colours and emotional depth, she transforms personal experience into universal reflection.
Through a style that weaves together contemporary, abstract, expressionist, and pop art sensibilities, she creates a vibrant visual language exploring themes of identity, emotion, and the human condition. Her art has been featured in exhibitions across Europe, including The Holy Art Gallery in Athens and the Boomer Gallery in London.
She holds a Master’s degree in Textile Arts from the National Academy of Arts in Sofia, and her background in graphic design and art education has shaped her sense of composition and storytelling.
Katerina’s art speaks of courage, tenderness, and the search for meaning — of learning to listen to the soul and to express what words cannot. Each painting is both a confession and an invitation: to feel, to connect, to remember who we truly are.
